When I founded The Address Engineering Consultancy, my goal was simple: to build a studio that could take a client from the first conversation to the final handover — with the same team, the same vision, and the same commitment to quality throughout.
Architecture in the Gulf is not just about aesthetics. It is about understanding how families live, how the climate shapes space, how authority requirements frame possibility, and how a building must serve its owners for decades — not just impress on the day of completion.
The Address Group has been part of this region since 1960. That legacy is not just history — it is a responsibility. Every project we take on carries the weight of that trust, and we approach each one with the same seriousness, whether it is a private villa or a large-scale development.

Eng. Abdullah Al Balushi is the founder and CEO of The Address Engineering Consultancy & Interior Design, a multidisciplinary Gulf-based studio that has delivered more than 3,000 projects across Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The studio is part of The Address Group — an Omani institution whose professional services roots extend back to 1960. This heritage informs the studio's approach: long-term thinking, deep regional knowledge, and a commitment to client trust that goes beyond individual projects.
Under his leadership, The Address has grown from a local Muscat practice into a regional consultancy with a branch in Dubai and an active project portfolio spanning the GCC. His role combines strategic direction, design vision, client relationship management, and the continuous development of the firm's technical and creative capabilities.
Eng. Abdullah's approach to leadership is grounded in the belief that a consultancy's value lies in its ability to integrate disciplines — not just offer them separately. Architecture, interior design, structural engineering, supervision, and project management are most effective when they are coordinated from the start, by a team that shares a common vision and a common standard of quality.
His personal involvement in key projects — from initial client consultation through to design development and supervision — reflects a founder-led model that prioritises quality, accountability, and long-term client relationships over volume.
